New York, NY (December 9, 2011) – The Give a Damn Campaign, a project of the True Colors Fund, is pleased to announce their partnership with Van Gogh Vodka. The innovative vodka brand joins the non-profit organization co-founded by Cyndi Lauper in encouraging everyone, especially straight people, to getinformed and get involved in advancing gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality.
From their plethora of vodka flavors allowing for complete cocktail personalization to their award-winning “You, Unbottled” campaign, Van Gogh Vodka has always encouraged consumers to be themselves, which makes this relationship so perfect. “The True Colors Fund’s mission has always been a cause of utmost importance to me personally, every person deserves to be treated equally, with compassion and understanding” said Norman Bonchick, Chairman and CEO of Van Gogh Imports. “I am thrilled to be able to work professionally with such a worthy organization.”
The Give a Damn Campaign launched in 2010 to inspire straight people to “give a damn” about LGBT equality. The campaign’s signature public service announcements have featured many prominent celebrities including Whoopi Goldberg, Elton John and Susan Sarandon.

Van Gogh has joined forces to spread the word and bring an additional voice to the anthem behind the Give a Damn Campaign. This newly formed partnership is a long-term interest for the brand promising ongoing support and alliance with the LGBT community. Van Gogh will explore ancillary programs to help promote and spread the word for the foundation including Cocktails without Prejudice: a program designed tofeature drink recipes inspired by the True Colors Fund’s Give a Damn Campaign.
