The Banana Eater

Adrian Cardelle, bartender at China Grill in Ft. Lauderdale, shows off her Banana Eater cocktail.

Last week we went to China Grill in Ft. Lauderdale and met Adrian Cardelle, where she made an excellent drink with our Van Gogh Banana Vodka called the Banana Eater. While talking with her, she said that Van Gogh Vodkas “truly are amazing and a work of art.” Thanks, Adrian. So is your cocktail.

We enjoyed it so much, we wanted to share it with you. So, go see her, or you can even make it at home.

Banana Eater

  • 2 oz. Van Gogh Banana Vodka
  • 2 oz. of Chocovine (a chocolate wine liqueur)
  • chocolate syrup (garnish)
  • 1 slice of fresh banana (garnish)
  • Shake ingredients together in a martini shaker with some ice until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Drizzle some chocolate syrup in a martini glass, and gently pour the contents of the shaker into the glass so as to not blur the pattern that the chocolate makes on the glass, then top with a fresh banana slice.
